Happy Monday!

Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My weekend was hectic but wonderful. We had a charity gala on Friday night which was lots of fun, tried out a new cafe, caught up with family and slept in! It was the perfect two day break!

Here is the dress I wore to the gala. For those of you curious it is from Fame and Partners and you can purchase it here. I paired it with the Samantha Wills necklace I spoke about on last Friday!

Ok moving onto my favourite finds of the week! This week is all about my favourite hair products.

First up 'Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil' shampoo and conditioner. I have been using this stuff for years and love it! It leaves your hair healthy, smelling great and looking shiny. Plus you can find this at most pharmacies or supermarkets, saving you not only time but money! Win!

Next up these cute MimCo hair bands. I received a set of these in rose gold for my last birthday and have since had to buy TWO more set because I just love them so much! They are gentle on hair and super sweet. They also make a great gift! Check them out here.

Last up this week is Batiste Dry Shampoo. This stuff is a serious life saver when you haven't tamed your bird nest ;) or need to add a little volume to your look. It comes in a variety of flavours and makes your hair smell great! Just what you need when you are momentarily lacking in hair hygiene!

Have a wonderful day friends!

Happy Friday Everyone!

I have a busy but exciting weekend ahead! We will be catching up with family, attending a charity ball and sadly catching up on some work *sigh. But before the weekend begins heres what I have been up to lately!

We have been doing a whole lot of this lately. Relaxing, laying in the sun and waiting eagerly for summer to arrive and pool season to begin! As you can see Ollie is over this whole waiting game but not long now!

As you guys know I love love love Samantha Wills jewellery. I have serval of her pieces and they are nothing less than amazing. She uses smell precious stones to create jewellery masterpieces. For this weekend's charity ball I will be wearing this gorgeous necklace! *eeekkk so excited!

Side note all of her jewellery comes with one of these hand made wooden jewellery boxes. Which are also beautiful. Whats not to love about this brand!?! Check the current collection out here.

This weeks OPI nail colour is 'Grand Canyon Sunset'! Super cute! You can purchase it here.

A quite week for me but a big weekend ahead! Remember to treat yourselves this weekend ^ and I will see y'all Monday!

Corn Fritters served with avocado, rocket and sweet chilli sauce

Morning Everyone!

This weeks recipe is super simple and very very delicious. These corn fritters are perfect for an easy weekend breakfast and are a real crowd pleaser.

You will need.
1 cup self-raising flour

1/3 cup milk

Place flour into a large mixing bowl and make a well in the centre. Use a fork to whisk eggs and milk in a jug and pour gradually into the flour, stirring gently to combine. Fold in corn, chives and fetta. Don’t over-mix or the fritters will be tough.

Over mild heat grease a pan with the butter and place a quarter cup of mixture into the pan. Cook until golden brown underneath (around 2 minutes) then flip. Repeat this step until remaining mixture is gone.

Severe with rocket, avocado and sweet chilli sauce. Enjoy!

Have a wonderful Thursday friends!

The Two of Us by Andy Jones

Hello hello!

For this weeks well-read Wednesday I thought I would share The two of us by Andy jones. I actually haven't finished this book, I am about half way through it and loving it!

The book follows Ivy and Fisher, during the beginning phase of their relationship. As they start to learn about each others loves, hates, family and past, they quickly realise this is much more than a fling.  The book looks at a year in the life of a couple, trying to navigate careers, a new relationship and the ups and downs of life.

"The Two of Us is a charming, honest and heart-breaking novel about life, love and the importance of taking neither-one for granted."

I am super excited to finish this book because we all know I am a sucker for a good love story! Heres hoping it ends well for Ivy and Fisher!

See you all tomorrow for my recipe of the week.

2 days in Munich

Hello my friends!

This weeks travel post is about our very short visit to Munich. We visited Munich really as a stop- over on our way to Switzerland, so didn't spend a great amount of time in Germany, but seriously it was beautiful! We visited about a week before Octoberfest started so the city was buzzing and very busy preparing for the annual festival.

The architecture in Munich is amazing. The city is filled with beautiful historical buildings, museums and churches that will make your design hearts skip a beat. *note the grey sky in these pictures, it rained for about an hour and then turned into a beautiful sunny day. Thats European weather for you!

An absolute must do when in Munich is a guided bike tour. Our tour took us through parts of the city as well as 'Englischer Garden' or English Garden. Essentially a huge park with a running stream, great places to picnic and an open beer garden! Very german! The park was gorgeous and green and the beer garden had ... you guessed it BEER!  You can view the parks website here.

Just look at my bike riding, photography skills #notatallblurry

Our stop in Munich was short and sweet but lots of fun! We drank beer, ate sausages and explored this beautiful city, while avoiding any bike accidents! Win! I hope you guys love Munich as much as we did.

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday!

I hope you enjoyed your weekends. My weekend was very busy but lots of fun! So Monday usually means my favourite fashion finds but I though I would mix it up this week and show y'all some of my favourite beauty finds instead! I know crazy stuff ;) So here we go!

Firstly the Tangle Teezer! This baby is actually amazing. If you have hair that knots easily or is a little unruly this is the brush for you. I use this straight after I get out of the shower with wet hair. It will de-tangle your wet locks easily and is very gentle! Yay for painless hair brushing! You can find the Tangle Teezer here.

Next up LUSH bath bombs. I love love love my baths and a LUSH bath bomb is a requirement for me. They smell fantastic are great quality and gentle on your skin (they also come in lots of different pretty colours and shapes which I appreciate! ) My personal favourites include 'Granny takes a dip', 'Sex Bomb' and 'Rose Queen'. Although all of them smell insanely good! You can purchase them in store or here.

I love this Paul Mitchell - Forever Blond Dramatic Repair. Although I have never dyed my hair and I look after my locks well, I often find dead ends. My hairdresser recommended this spray and I haven't looked back.  I apply it after brushing through my wet hair and leave in. It also leaves your hair smelling great! Bonus! You can find it here.

Last but not least, MAC lipstick. I love me some MAC products! This lipstick is Cherish and is a personal favourite! Plus they are made to smell like vanilla cupcakes, so really whats not to love?!
You can find all MAC lipsticks here.

Have a wonderful Monday!

Weekly Wrap-up!

Happy Friday Friends!

Before the weekend begins lets talk about whats been happening lately and what I am loving right now!

I posted this picture a few days ago on my Instagram and thought I should also post it here. Simply because this Dior Air flash - spray foundation is so darn good! Seriously this stuff is a life save for busy mornings when you are running out the door or days when you don't want a heavy makeup do. I highly  recommend this product. You can find it here.

So Spring has officially sprung here. I mean just look at that blue sky! The weather has been so lovely lately we have been spending a tone of time outside. We are all counting down the days till it is warm enough for a swim!

This guy especially loves the warmer weather. (His favourite activity is sleeping on our outdoor furniture in the sun!)

This weeks OPI nail colour is Short-Stop. It's bright and bold, perfect for the beginning of spring! You can find it here.

Lastly, I saw this the other day and had to laugh. I plan on taking a few 'horizontal life passes' this weekend!

I hope you all have a restful and fun weekend my loves! See you Monday for my weekly fashion finds!
