2 days in Munich

Hello my friends!

This weeks travel post is about our very short visit to Munich. We visited Munich really as a stop- over on our way to Switzerland, so didn't spend a great amount of time in Germany, but seriously it was beautiful! We visited about a week before Octoberfest started so the city was buzzing and very busy preparing for the annual festival.

The architecture in Munich is amazing. The city is filled with beautiful historical buildings, museums and churches that will make your design hearts skip a beat. *note the grey sky in these pictures, it rained for about an hour and then turned into a beautiful sunny day. Thats European weather for you!

An absolute must do when in Munich is a guided bike tour. Our tour took us through parts of the city as well as 'Englischer Garden' or English Garden. Essentially a huge park with a running stream, great places to picnic and an open beer garden! Very german! The park was gorgeous and green and the beer garden had ... you guessed it BEER!  You can view the parks website here.

Just look at my bike riding, photography skills #notatallblurry

Our stop in Munich was short and sweet but lots of fun! We drank beer, ate sausages and explored this beautiful city, while avoiding any bike accidents! Win! I hope you guys love Munich as much as we did.
